Automated Vehicles: Responses to Consultation Paper 3

The Commission, together with the Law Commission of England and Wales, have to-day published a Summary of Responses to Consultation Paper 3 and Next Steps for our joint Automated Vehicles project.

The summary of responses provides an outline of stakeholders’ views and indicates the Commissions’ provisional direction of travel on various issues.  Readers can see all of the responses on the Law Commission’s website here: Responses to Automated Vehicles consultation paper 3 | Law Commission. They can also see a draft impact assessment and economic analysis of the law reform options set out in the consultation paper.  The Commissions welcome views on the impact assessment.
