Surrogacy - consultation published

A joint Consultation Paper on surrogacy – Building families through surrogacy: a new law – has been published today.   This marks the beginning of the formal consultation phase in a project which we are carrying out jointly with the Law Commission of England and Wales.   We would welcome responses by 27 September 2019.  The Consultation Paper, Summary and news release are available on our current consultations page.
