New Chief Executive

We are delighted to welcome Rachel Rayner as our new Chief Executive at the Scottish Law Commission.  Rachel is a Scottish Government lawyer with extensive experience of every aspect of legislation, both primary and secondary.  Her previous involvement with many institutions instrumental in shaping the law of Scotland, together with her considerable administrative and organisational skills, make her a major asset for the Commission and its work.  We wish her all the best in her new post.
